I guess I was around 3 years old..when Madhuri Dixit's famous number "Ek, Do, Teen" had hit the screens and had created vibes around INDIA...!I was one of those thousands who got mesmorized and would look at the television..and try copying the choreography set to the song...! It all started then.
My mother, noticed my interest in DANCE since then(thank God she did..!)..and enrolled me in a dance class when i turned 4. I was taught "Rangeela Re", the title song from the movie "Rangeela" picturised on Urmila Matondkar!..and then..gave my very 1st on stage performance..! I dont very well remember whether I was nervoous or not..but going by what my mother said..I wasnt..! In my free time, I do watch the video of this performance which my father had managed to take..! and trust me..everytime I watch it, I feel embarrassed!!!(apart from the rollilng down on the floor, laughing)!!..After watching it, each time I ask my mum, "Ma, how could you make me do this?"..n her standard reply.."Arre, what do you mean by that?"..and there... we both start laughing again..!!!
So yeah, this was how my journey with DANCE started, not knowing that it would become such an integral part of my life, from the last 15 years, and hereafter.
